Who we are

HabitFlo is developed and published by Lymegrove, an independent software developer based in Australia. References to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to Lymegrove.

This policy applies to the HabitFlo application for iPhone and Apple Watch ("the app") and this website.

Data collected

HabitFlo stores the following data locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted to Lymegrove or any third party.

Data type What it includes Where it goes
User content Habit names, descriptions, cadence settings On device / iCloud
Usage data Completion history, streak counts, timestamps On device / iCloud
App preferences Notification settings, reminder times, display options On device / iCloud
Health & fitness HealthKit data (workouts, steps, sleep) — optional, read-only On device only

None of this data is linked to your identity. HabitFlo has no user accounts and does not require sign-in.

HabitFlo does not collect the following Apple App Privacy data categories:

Contact information (name, email, phone, address) Not collected
Identifiers (user ID, device ID, advertising ID) Not collected
Location (precise or coarse) Not collected
Sensitive information Not collected
Financial information Not collected
Contacts (address book) Not collected

Diagnostics / crash data (sent to Lymegrove) Not collected

iCloud sync

If iCloud is enabled on your device, HabitFlo uses Apple's CloudKit framework to sync your data across your Apple devices. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account — Lymegrove has no access to it.

iCloud sync is controlled entirely through your device settings. You can disable it at any time:

  1. Go to Settings → [your name] → iCloud
  2. Toggle off HabitFlo

To delete your iCloud data, go to Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → HabitFlo and tap Delete Data. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Apple HealthKit

HabitFlo may request optional access to Apple HealthKit to automatically mark certain habits as complete based on your health activity (for example, closing your Exercise ring or logging a workout).

HealthKit data is processed entirely on your device. It is never transmitted to Lymegrove or any third party. We only read data; we do not write to HealthKit.

You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → HabitFlo. Revoking access does not affect your habit history.

HabitFlo complies with Apple's HealthKit guidelines and does not use HealthKit data for advertising or other purposes unrelated to health and fitness functionality.

Third-party services

HabitFlo does not integrate any third-party SDKs for advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or social media. The app does not communicate with any servers other than Apple's iCloud and HealthKit frameworks described above.

Apple may independently collect anonymised, aggregated metrics (such as App Store download counts and device-level crash reports) under their own privacy policy. This data is not linked to your personal identity and is not provided to us in identifiable form.

Data retention & deletion

Because all data is stored locally on your device or in your own iCloud account, you have full control over it at all times.

To delete all HabitFlo data:

  1. Delete the HabitFlo app from your device — this removes all local data.
  2. If iCloud sync was enabled, also delete the iCloud backup: Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → HabitFlo → Delete Data.

We hold no copies of your data on Lymegrove servers, so there is nothing additional to request deletion of from us. If you have any questions, contact us and we will assist you.

Children's privacy

HabitFlo is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because HabitFlo collects no personal data at all, this risk is limited — but if you believe a child is using the app in a way that raises a privacy concern, please contact us.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal data under laws such as the GDPR (European Union), the Australian Privacy Act, the CCPA (California), or similar legislation.

Because HabitFlo does not collect or store personal data on our servers, most of these rights are automatically satisfied — there is no data held by Lymegrove to access, correct, export, or erase. All data you create in the app can be deleted directly from your device as described above.

If you have a privacy request or believe we hold data about you that you cannot find, please contact us and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of HabitFlo after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
